Along this route, we will follow the original footprint of the Incas toward Machu Picchu Sanctuary, this path keeps the mystery of our ancestors and shows the incredible way that road development influenced the way in which the Incas integrated a Great Empire. Throughout these four days, we will be part of the Andean world as well as have the opportunity to walk along the route, visiting different archaeological groups while also enjoying the environment as well as the varied ecosystem. We will eventually reach the highest pass at over 4200 masl, where we will have a beautiful view of the Sacred mountains of the Incas and then descend through the Cloud Forest. Once there you will have a chance to see the wonderful biodiversity in flora and fauna before reaching the entrance to the citadel of Machu Picchu.
