Itinerary:

Jump into a mesmerizing 9-day adventure along the most beautiful places in Chile. Amaze at the imposing Torres del Paine and marvel at the stunning Serrano Glaciers and have a peek of Buenos Aires lifestyle.

Day 1: Welcome to Santiago

Upon arrival you will assisted at the Santiago airport and then transferred to your hotel.

Santiago is a cosmopolitan city that blends the oldness with modernity. Today, you will see the origins of the city and landmarks such as Plaza de Armas, the Cathedral, the Post Office and the Municipality of Santiago. The tour will continue by the Government Palace and you will have the chance to walk through some of the most traditional streets and neighborhoods. Later you will go towards the east, to see the modern buildings and how they have transformed the city.

Day 2: Puerto Natales

Transfer from your Santiago hotel to the airport to board a flight to Punta Arenas. *Flight is not included. 

Upon arrival you will be assisted at the Punta Arenas airport and then transferred to the bus terminal to board a bus to Puerto Natales, approximately 03 hours trip, and upon arrival you will be transferred to the hotel.

Day 3: Torres del Paine National Park

Today you will begin visiting the Milodon Cave, a natural monument located on Benitez Hill, 25 kilometers from Puerto Natales. From there, you will walk for half an hour to go into the cave and observe the stalactites, places where the remains were found and a replica of Milodon. This experience continues bordering different lakes such as Sofía, Porteño and Toro toward the park, which is a biosphere reserve founded in 1959 with a surface over 242.000 hectares. Here the landscape changes drastically becoming unforgettable due its dozen lakes populated by marine birds, and in the background granite picks dominating the area. Turquoise lakes, waterfalls and mountains covered by ice are the predominant landscape inside the park. The trip continues with a walk on the shores of Grey Lake, where blue icebergs can be seen, and in the background the vast Grey glacier. After lunch, prepare for a walk for 15 minutes into the park towards the Waterfall (Salto Grande), which communicates two big lakes inside the park; Nordenskjold and Pehoe Lakes. The road will take you to the Nordenskjold look out and bordering Sarmiento Lake and finally arriving in Laguna Amarga, from where you will have a panoramic view of the three “Towers of Paine”, always depending on the weather conditions. Once you leave the park you will be able to enjoy the most diverse landscapes. Before arriving in Puerto Natales, you will observe the little village of Cerro Castillo and Figueroa Lake.

Day 4: Balmaceda & Serrano Glaciers 

After enjoying breakfast, you will head towards the glacier sighting. On the road you will appreciate striking birds, sea lions on rocks and watching condors in areas of streams as it approaches the Balmaceda Mountain (2035 meters altitude) where you can appreciate the glacier of the same name. Then, you will disembark at Puerto Toro to start one hour walk round the shore of the lagoon “Tempanos”, accompanied by your bilingual guide. Through a native forest of “coihues”, “ñirres” and “ciruelillos”, toward the Serrano glacier, you will enjoy the fascinating vegetation surrounding the imposing massif of ice.

After witnessing a unique, wild and unspoiled landscape, you will complete the navigation anchoring in Puerto Natales.

Day 5: El Calafate

At the scheduled time you will be transferred from your hotel to Puerto Natales bus station to take your bus to El Calafate. At your arrival to El Calafate, transfer from bus station to your hotel.

Day 6: Perito Moreno Glacier Tour

The Perito Moreno Glacier rises majestically 80 km away from El Calafate. This is one of the largest and the only advancing glacier in the world, as well as the biggest attraction at Los Glaciares National Park, a 600,000-hectare protected area covered by an ice mantle. You will start by getting through the Patagonian Andean forest and make a first breathtaking stop at "Curva de los Suspiros" (Curve of Sighs), where you will enjoy a first view of this incredible natural wonder.

Then, you will approach the glacier and walk down the catwalks to get closer to the glacier and admire from different panoramic points this wonderful creation of Mother Nature. You will be able to contemplate very closely when varied-sized ice blocks loosen and fall into the water with a great thunder becoming beautiful ice floes in the deep waters of the Lago Argentino. Making this day will be an unforgettable experience, a once in a lifetime delight.

Day 7: Ice Rivers

Get aboard andl sail through the North Arm of Lake Argentino. You will reach the Upsala Channel, where you will find a spectacular Iceberg Barrier, and if the location of the icebergs allows it, you will be able to get near the glacier`s wall.

Afterwards you will navigate the Spegazzini Channel, where you will observe the Seco Glacier to reach the front of the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park. Afterwards, you will return to Punta Bandera Port and transfer to your Hotel.

Day 8: Buenos Aires City Tour

At scheduled time, you will be transferred from hotel to El Calafate airport. Once in Buenos Aires you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel.

Today you will discover the history of May Square, the site of the most important historical events and their protagonists since its foundation: explore its surroundings, the most emblematic buildings, and learn all about them. Then, enjoy May Avenue and wonder in awe at the oldest residential neighborhood in Buenos Aires: San Telmo. Walk along its cobble-stoned streets and discover its antiques shops and picturesque buildings. Live and feel the original Tango in the neighborhood of La Boca, where you will walk along the Caminito Street and enjoy the dancers and souvenir shops and see the mythical Boca Juniors soccer stadium. Contemplate the modernization of the city whilst traveling along Madero Port and its exclusive docks, full of excellent restaurants and large offices. Pass through the Retiro neighborhood and move on to see Palermo and its most exclusive residential area before finally arriving at Recoleta. Once there, discover the final resting place of Eva Peron, "Evita" and wander through Recoleta Cemetery.

Day 9: Farewell

After enjoying a delicious breakfast you will be transferred from your hotel to the Buenos Aires airport.
