Day 1: Welcome to Lima

Upon your arrival you will be assisted at the Lima airport and then transferred to your hotel.

You will have free time to rest.

Day 2: Lima

Lima City Tour and Larco Museum

You will visit the modern and colonial parts of Lima, known as The City of Kings, starting at the districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, and passing along a “huaca” or sacred pre-Inca site, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will walk along some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, where you will have some time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. You will also have the chance to take a peek into an iconic building, that has served Lima’s citizens for centuries and continues to be an important landmark. Then you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards the Larco Museum, which houses the incomparable Treasures of Ancient Peru private collection.

Day 3: Welcome to Cusco - Sacred Valley

At the proper time you will be transfer to the Lima Airport to take your flight to Cusco.

Upon your arrival you will be assisted at the Cusco airport and then transferred to the Sacred Valley.

Pisac Market and Awanakancha Excursion

Transport to the Sacred Valley of the Incas, en route to the village of Pisac. On the way you will visit Awanakancha, a handicrafts store where you can also see the local fauna. At Pisac you will visit its colourful market and experience the enchanting essence of the Andes. Lunch is included.

Day 4: Sacred Valley

Full Day Authentic Sacred Valley

Visit Chinchero, a small picturesque Andean village. Enter the home of a textile artisan, where you will see some of his original work and learn about his techniques, as well as his creative process. Then visit its important Inca ruins dating back to the end of the 15th century, as well as you can observe in a panoramic way its beautiful and traditional church. Afterwards, on the road to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at a viewpoint, for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then it is on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative building complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors' rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress and also a religious center.

Day 5: Machu Picchu

Excursion to Machu Picchu on Voyager Train

You will visit one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. Your excursion starts aboard a train towards the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train ride the best way to start your visit. Once you arrive, you will begin the ascent to the ruins. This visit will, without a doubt, be one of your most memorable experiences. After you reach the top, you will take a tour of Machu Picchu, learning the history and mysteries of one of the Seven Wonders of the World. And, with amazing sceneries all around, you will surely have more than one spectacular photo-op. Then, it’s back to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, you will board the train for the return journey. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Sacred Valley

Half Day Tour of the Archaelogical Sites of Maras and Moray

You will leave your hotel and head to the Raqchi Viewpoint, from where you will have an impressive view of the Sacred Valley. From there, you will continue towards Maras, ancestral salt mines where, until today, the finest salt in the world is extracted. Then, you will head to Moray, an Inca archeological site famous for its impressive concentric terraces. There, you will have a guided tour to learn all about these fascinating ruins. Finally, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.

Day 7: Cusco

Cusco City Tour and Nearby Ruins

You will visit the city of Cusco, known as the Imperial City and declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Here you will start your tour at the Koricancha Temple, an ancient Inca palace and cult center of the Sun God, above which the order of the Dominicans built a church, which remains standing to this day. You will continue ascending to the Fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an impressive example of Inca military architecture. Afterwards, you will explore Q’enqo archeological site, where important Inca ceremonies took place. Finally, you will arrive to the Plaza de Armas (main square), where you will visit the Cathedral, the most important temple in the city.
