DAY 1 CUSCO - MACHUPICCHU
You will be picked up from your hotel in Cusco and transferred to the Ollantaytambo train station, where you will have time to prepare for the trip. You will board the train towards Km 104, where you will begin your trek to the magnificent ruins of Wiñay Wayna. Once there, you will rest and enjoy a re-energizing box lunch, before returning to the path towards the Intipunku or Sun Gate. From there, you will have an impressive view of the citadel of Machu Picchu. Then you will board the bus that will take you to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will be installed in your selected hotel and you can rest for the rest of the afternoon.

DAY 2 MACHUPICCHU - CUSCO
After a healthy and energizing breakfast, you will board the bus that will take you to Machu Picchu to start your guided tour. The required documents will be reviewed by the Machu Picchu Control staff prior to admission. Once inside, your guide will tell you about the history, organization and mysteries of this unique Inca citadel. Afterwards, you will have free time to return to the places that impressed you the most to take pictures. At the end of the visit, you will board the bus that will take you back to Aguas Calientes for lunch or a tour around the streets of this picturesque town. At the scheduled time, you will board the train back to Ollantaytambo station. Finally, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
