Day 1: Welcome to Lima
Collect your luggage then meet your courteous driver in the arrivals lounge at Jorge Chavez International Airport, holding a sign with your name or group reference on it.

Day 2: The Colonial and modern Lima
Known as The City of Kings, Lima has many iconic places. Combining the modern and colonial parts of the city, you will start visiting the beautiful districts of Miraflores and San Isidro, before heading to the Historic Center. There, you will have time to explore some of the most historically important streets of the city, leading to the Plaza de Armas, and also have time to take pictures of the amazing colonial architecture that surrounds it. Then, you will visit the impressive Convent of Santo Domingo, an astonishing building with colonial style. After exploring the Historical Center, you will head towards modern Miraflores to make a stop at the Parque del Amor, a beautiful spot with a panoramic view of the Lima bay area, from where you can take beautiful photographs.

Day 3: Lima, Paracas
Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the bus station to board the special bus service to Paracas with an approximately 4 hours trip.

Day 4: Ballestas Islands Tour
Today you will be transferred to the pier to start the excursion to Ballestas Islands. Prepare yourself for a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands. A beautiful marine environment where you can see thousands of birds, sea lions seals, and countless marine animal species. There, you will be able to appreciate the famous Candelabra design, a figure of the Nazca culture mysteriously engraved in the desert that can also be seen now from the boat.
At the proper time, you will be transferred from your Hotel in Paracas to Ica, our team will transport you to the bus station where you will take the special Confort Bus Service to Arequipa with an approximately 10 hours trip.

Day 6: Colca Adventure
Start this adventure heading to the Pampa Cañahuas National Reserve, a place with breathtaking landscapes and a habitat for a large number of vicunas and local fauna. Then, you will stop in Patahuasi to cool off before heading to Chivay. Then, the next stop in this adventure will take you to Chivay town, where you will have lunch. You will have leisure time to explore the area and hotel facilities or take the optional visit to the always comforting Calera thermal waters.

Day 7: Colca Valley on the way to Puno
Early in the morning, you will start the day heading to the Colca Valley's Condor's Cross, the best lookout that will allow you to admire the beautiful Colca Canyon where you will have time to admire the imposing canyon take pictures of the amazing landscape and, if the weather permits, the flight of the majestic condor. On your way back, you will stop in the colorful town of Maca, before continuing to the town of Chivay, where you will enjoy a delicious lunch. Afterwards, you will be transferred from Chivay to Puno by bus. At your arrival you will be transferred from the bus station to your hotel.

Day 8: Uros & Taquile Islands
The adventure begins early in the morning as you head out of the city of Puno towards the famous Uros Islands, an impressive set of man-made floating islands in the middle of the Lake Titicaca. Here, you will meet the islanders, hunters-gatherers, and descendants of the first altiplano inhabitants, who still live on totora reed platforms and travel across the lake on handcrafted rafts. Afterward, you will head to the Taquile Island, with a 3950 m.a.s.l. high. The ancient culture on this island dates back to Pre-Incan times and the islanders still live according to the traditions and beliefs of their ancestors getting world-renowned for their lovely outfits and incredible textiles. In fact, UNESCO has declared the textile art of Taquile Island as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

Day 9: Full Day Excursion From Puno to Cusco
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from Puno hotel to the bus station to start a mesmerizing trip by bus to Cusco, enjoying the wonderful landscapes of the South Valley of Cusco on the way. First, you will visit Andahuaylillas, where you will find the church of San Pedro, a beautiful seventeenth century building that has an impressive organ, decorated with angels and cherubs. Then, visit the ruins of Raqchi -also known as The Temple of God Wiracocha- which have different areas that were used for various purposes. At the end of this visit, you will enjoy a delicious and typical buffet lunch at a local restaurant. Then, you will head towards La Raya, the highest point between Cusco and Puno, where you will make a brief stop to appreciate the landscape. Upon arrival, you will be picked up from the bus station and transferred to the hotel in Cusco.

Day 11: Full Day Authentic Sacred Valley
Today you will visit Chinchero, a small and picturesque town that houses an important Inca archaeological center built at the end of the 15th century, a beautiful and traditional church and you will be able visit the PARWA Center. In this place you can appreciate beautiful textiles and even buy some to take a little bit of Cusco back home. Afterwards, on the way to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at the Racchi viewpoint, where you will have some of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Later, you will enjoy a delicious lunch in a local restaurant. You will continue to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire and one of the few places where the Spanish conquerors lost an important battle. Well known for its platforms, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress that also served as a temple. Finally, you will descend to the town of Ollantaytambo, a picturesque place which stands out for maintaining the Inca urban planning as part of its original urban layout, with some buildings and narrow stone streets.

Day 12: Full Day in Machu Picchu
Today you'll explore what is probably the biggest highlight for Cusco visitors: Machu Picchu. As one of the most renowned and beautiful must-see destinations of the world, it’s no wonder it welcomes over 1 million tourists every year. Your adventure starts with an early train ride towards Aguas Calientes, a picturesque village at the foot of Machu Picchu citadel. Once you arrive it’s only a short bus ride up the mountain and you’ll find yourself standing before one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World – it will be an unforgettable sight! You’ll set off to explore the citadel with its incredible ruins, terraces and photogenic alpacas while marveling at the stunning landscape. From the highest hills you’ll be able to take in the spectacle that is Machu Picchu seen from above. After soaking up the magical energy (and with plenty of photographs to show) you’ll head back down to Aguas Calientes to enjoy a delicious lunch and in the afternoon aboard the Expedition, train to start the journey back to the Ollantaytambo station to finally be transferred to your hotel.

Day 13: Cusco, Puerto Maldonado
At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Puerto Maldonado.
3 Days / 2 Nights Puerto Maldonado Program
Arriving to Puerto Maldonado the program begins with a bus ride through the city. Head to Puerto Capitanía and take a boat ride on the Lower Madre de Dios River (Serpentine River) until arriving to the lodge. Along the way you will observe on the banks of the river areas dedicated to agricultural and livestock activities near the city. If the weather is favorable, you will see colorful plants such as the giant flowers, Heliconia and animals such as capybaras, caimans, aquatic turtles, herons, cormorants, carrion scavenger birds and birds of prey. Arriving to the lodge you will be welcomed with a refreshing fruit juice and have time to settle into your room and then enjoy lunch. In the afternoon you will walk to Cocha Caimán, a small lake where you may be able to see the black caiman, white caiman and a large variety of fish. As evening falls you will be witness of a spectacular Amazonian sunset. Dinner will be waiting for when you return to the lodge. The nocturnal fauna will lull you to sleep with the melody of the birds and insects.

Day 14: Puerto Maldonado
After breakfast, begin an adventure through the virgin jungle on a hike, accompanied by a guide, into the deep forest to Concha Perdida. Along the way, go back in time, crossing many bridges and witness the widest range of species of flora and fauna of great beauty in the wild. If you’re lucky you may see a jaguar, tapir, river otter, armadillo, among other mammals. On the trail you will learn to identify species of fruit, forest and medicinal trees that support animal populations in the Amazonian forests. Once arriving to Concha Perdida, you will climb up onto an observation platform from which you will be able to appreciate the enormous magical surface of two kinds of marshes, dense and mixed. Later you will take a walk along the shores of the marsh before returning to the lodge to enjoy an exquisite lunch. In the afternoon you can visit Monkey Island in the heart of the Madre de Dios River, and as its name states, it is home to numerous specimens of primates, such as the spider monkey, capuchin, squirrel monkey and the pygmy marmoset, as well as other small mammals. Finally you will end your adventure filled day with the most impressive sunset in the jungle.

Day 15: Puerto Maldonado - Farewell
After a restful nights sleep, the powerful voices of the howler monkeys (Alouatta senículus) will be your alarm clock to let you know the sun is coming up and it’s time to leave. After breakfast you will begin the journey back to Puerto Maldonado to take your flight back to Lima and take your international connection.
