Day 5: Machu Picchu
FULL DAY - MACHU PICCHU - EXPEDITION
You will visit one of the most important tourist destinations in the world: Machu Picchu. Your excursion starts aboard a train towards the town of Aguas Calientes, also known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. The natural beauty of the surroundings makes the train ride the best way to start your visit. Once you arrive, you will begin the ascent to the ruins. This visit will, without a doubt, be one of your most memorable experiences. After you reach the top, you will take a tour of Machu Picchu, learning the history and mysteries of one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
And, with amazing sceneries all around, you will surely have more than one spectacular photo-op. Then, it's back to Aguas Calientes for lunch at a local restaurant. Finally, you will board the train for the return journey. Upon your arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cusco.

You'll be transferred to your lodge in the jungle.
At your arrival in your lodge, you'll be able to choose your daily experience in the Jungle.
You can experience these activities:
1. Sailing in the Amazon
Navigation through the Amazon River (Natural Wonder of the World), observation of the confluence of the Amazon, Itaya, Nanay and Momón rivers, also if we are lucky we can observe the beauty of Gray And Pink Dolphins.
2. Boras Native
CommunityVisit to the Boras community where we will learn about their main activities, customs and exotic dances. Free time to appreciate their crafts.
3. Pilpintuwasi Butterfly Farm
The life stage of butterflies will be appreciated in different rooms, from their birth as larvae to becoming beautiful butterflies; Also in its gardens we will observe typical animals of the Amazon such as Otorongos, Jaguars, Macaws, Sloth Bears and Red-faced Monkeys.
4. Serpentarium
You will be able to appreciate a diversity of snakes, Boas, Anacondas and also Sloth Bears, a variety of Monkeys, Macaws, Toucans and the Prehistoric Tortoise.
5. Sunrise in the Amazon
The tour begins leaving the lodge at 05:00 in the morning, we will navigate the Momón River arriving at the confluence of the Nanay and Amazon rivers. We will appreciate the sunrise from the Amazon River, one of the wonders of the world, and if luck is with us we will enjoy the beauty of the Gray and Pink Dolphins.
6. Night tours
Night navigation on the Momón river during which we will appreciate the flora and fauna of the area; We will listen to the Nocturnal sounds of the Jungle under the detailed explanation of our specialized guides.
7. Bird watching
Exploration upstream by the Momón river, where we will observe the most colorful birds existing in the area such as the Paucares, Parrots, Toucans, Herons etc.
8. Walk in the jungle
