Day 1: Tuesday: Guayaquil 

Transfer in Guayaquil. English speaking assistance.

*Note that this first night can be changed to Quito for an extra cost. 

Overnight at Unipark (Standard Room) or similar

Day 2: Wednesday: Guayaquil, Galapagos (Santa Cruz Island) 

After breakfast, transfer to the airport to take flight to Galapagos.

Flight Guayaquil / Galápagos – Included 

Arrival in the Galapagos. English speaking assistance. Today we arrive on Baltra Island, the gateway to the Galapagos. This tiny island was a military base during the Second World

War and hosts the Islands’ principal airport. The airport was built using the most advanced environmental techniques to reduce emissions and energy use, some of which you will notice as you transit through the facility. It was the first ecological airport in the world. Ferry to Santa Cruz Island. Afterwards drive to our exclusive giant tortoise reserve where our tented camp is located. Perched high on a hillside overlooking the ocean, Magic Galapagos Tented Camp will be our home for the night. The sounds of nature will be our lullaby in the evenings, and the Milky

Way will be our night-light. We will be able to feast our eyes on the mountains and forest surrounding the lodge and enjoy the peace of having the entire hillside to ourselves, except for seasonal resident giant tortoises. Watching the colorful sunset from Magic’s western perch is the perfect segue into evening. Dinners are scrumptious three course affairs, prepared by expert chefs in an open-air kitchen in the main lodge. A favorite post-dinner activity is a short walk to the natural lava tubes on the reserve for a nightcap in the one-of-a-kind ‘Lava Lounge!’ It is the perfect spot to relax around the fire and share stories from the day’s adventures.     

*Check in at Galapagos Magic Tented Camp is at 3pm.

If guests are arriving earlier, the transfer included in the program will drive them to Puerto Ayora (not to the hotel). Lunch is not included this day, so you can take advantage of your time at Puerto Ayora to explore on your own and enjoy of a meal in a local restaurant (ask our team for recommendations). Luggage will be stored until the moment of the check in, so guests have time to explore on their own Puerto Ayora and have lunch at town (not included). Later, a taxi will pick them up to be transferred to Galapagos Magic.

**Magic Galapagos doesn’t have an open restaurant. Breakfasts and dinners are included with the stay. Lunch is only available upon request, with previous notification.

Day 3: Thursday: Galapagos 

Breakfast. 

Half-day excursion to Bay Exploration

This morning we will join a Puerto Ayora’s bay exploration, at the main dock we will have a quick 10-minute navigation to la Loberia Island named after a sea lion colony that inhabits there. This small island is a great place to snorkel in amongst sea turtles and a great variety of colorful fish, and for playing with the ever-friendly and inquisitive sea lions. Our next stop will be a hike to the Túnel del Amor (lover’s tunnel) with a great viewpoint from where if lucky you can watch

resting white-tip sharks. On the way back we will visit Punta Estrada’s dock, where we’ll go on a walk to watch marine iguanas. 

OPTIONAL FULL DAY EXPERIENCE WITH EXTRA COST:

Full Day Garrapatero Beach, Charles Darwin Research Station and visit to a local artisan.

Day 4: Friday: Galapagos

Breakfast. 

Daily Tour on board a motor yacht

Embark our motor yacht and enjoy of a daily excursion with a welcoming crew members and knowledgeable naturalist guide, and experience the remote islands in comfort and style. Our daily excursions will take you to experience the Galapagos Islands in a safe and comfortable manner. Check the boat´s weekly itinerary. We may visit North Seymour and Bachas, South Plazas, Santa Fe Island or Bartolome and Sullivan Bay, according to boats’ schedules allowed by the National Park. 

** These excursions are subject to availability and change without prior notification. 

Later, drive to Puerto Ayora to spend the night.

Day 5: Saturday: Galapagos - Guayaquil - Lima

After breakfast, transfer to Baltra´s airport to board connection flight to Lima-Peru.

Upon arriving in Lima, you will be picked up and taken to your hotel. Our representative will give you a documentation kit with detailed program explanation. Luggage and hotel registration assistance will be offered.

Day 6: Sunday: Lima

HALF DAY CITY TOUR (COLONIAL AND MODERN LIMA)

Visit the modern and colonial parts of the city of Lima the "City of Kings", beginning in the districtsof Miraflores and San Isidro. Pass by a Huaca or sacred pre-Inca site. There will then be a stop at Parque del Amor (Lovers Park) in Miraflores for its magnificent view over the Pacific Ocean. The tour also includes the Historic Centre based on the Main Square, where the Presidential Palace, the Archbishop´s Palace, the Municipality of Lima and the Cathedral are located, as well as a visit to one of the largest colonial-era convents.

Day 7: Monday: Lima, Cusco

At schedule time transfer to the airport to board the flight to Cusco city.

DAY AT LEISURE IN CUSCO

Enjoy the charm of this beautiful colonial city that was built upon the remains of amazing Inca buildings. Not to miss: Temple of the Sun (Koricancha), San Blas artisan’s neighborhood, the Cathedral, and the Inca Fortress of Sacsayhuaman.

FULL DAY MACHU PICCHU

You are going to visit one of the most important energy centers of the world: Machu Picchu. You will be driven to the archeological site, the visit of which will be an unforgettable experience, with a professional tour guide to impart to you all the history that surrounds this mysterious and enchanting place. Once the guided tour is over, you will have some free time to explorethe site on your own, to relax, or to meditate. At the agreed upon hour, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch and board the train later that afternoon for the return trip.Board train in Aguas Calientes, to Ollantantaytambo, and transfer back to Cusco.

DAY AT LEISURE IN CUSCO

Enjoy a unique experience filled with beautiful scenery, spectacular views, small communities, and opportunities to observe local wildlife. The Adventure awaits you! Don’t miss Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain, Pallcoyo or Humantay Lagoon.

FULL DAY VINICUNCA RAINBOW MOUNTAIN – (MINIMUM 2 PASSENGERS) Price per person: $55.00

You will leave your hotel in Cusco early in the morning, crossing the South Valley, towards Cusipata. From there, you will be transferred to Phulawasipata where you will begin your walk. After some time to prepare, you will start with the ascending route to Vinicunca, the RainbowMountain. The place will amaze you with its vivid colors and natural beauty. There, you will have time to take photos and fill yourself with the energy of the place. At the end of this visit, you will walk back to the starting point.Finally, you will be taken back to your hotel in Cusco. 

PALCCOYO – (MINIMUM 2 PASSENGERS) Price per person: $81.00

Palccoyo, known as the Montaña Colorada, is a surprising natural formation that is shown along a mountain range of the Vilcanota mountain range, usually it is part of the attractions where you walk on the routes that surround the Apu Ausangate main attraction of the place. The Mount of Ausangate is considered in the Andean World as the Sacred Mountain or the Mountain Spirit and since pre - Inca times it has been a place of veneration and worship, a tradition that continues until the present. In this opportunity we will walk towards the Palccoyo Mountain that you can reach thiscolorful place in a full day. In this route we will walk over 4,000 meters and along we can enjoy extraordinary landscapes, small communities, flora, and fauna typical of the area and above all we will have at all times the company of Apu Ausangate which will be seen from various points of the route. 

HUMANTAY LAGOON (SIB) – (MINIMUM 2 PASSENGERS) Price per person: $ 81.00

You will leave Cusco early in the morning heading to Soraypampa, starting point of your trek. On the way, you will cross the city of Limatambo -located at 2100 m.a.s.l.- an important access point to the city of Cusco during the time  of the Inca Empire. There you will find the archaeological remains of Tarawasi, a place that served as a resting point for those heading to Chinchaysuyo. Then, you will continue your journey along the right bank of the Apurimac River until you reach Soraypampa. From this point, you will start your trek up the mountain towards the Humantay Lagoon. Upon arrival, you will appreciate the stunning scenery of this wonderful place andenjoy the relaxing atmosphere. Before leaving, you will have time to take pictures around the lagoon. At the end of the visit, you will walk back to Soraypampa, where the transport will be waiting for you to take you back to your hotel.

Day 11: Friday: Farewell

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight.

Entry requirements to enter to Peru:

-PCR test result issued up to 72 hours prior to plane boarding, or antigen test result issued up to 24 hours prior to plane boarding or if you recently had Covid-19, a certificate of medical clearance issued up to 3 months prior to boarding.

-Sworn stament of health and geolaction authorization signed 72 hours prior to boarding.

-Face mask and face shield are mandatory on the airport, malls, supermarkets and other public spaces. The non-compliance regarding the use of the face mask or the instructions given by the airlines, the airport, or others, can result in boarding cancellation or it can be a reason to reject the boarding of a passenger to Perú.

Entry requirements to enter to Ecuador:

-Ecuador is open to all fully vaccinated passengers. They may be required to quarantine and present a negative COVID-19 test result and forms. 

Important note: Passengers arriving from Brazil or India are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result even if they are fully vaccinated.

-All passengers, vaccinated and non-vaccinated, whose point of origin, stopover or transit is Brazil or India, must undergo a mandatory quarantine.

Fully vaccinated passengers:

-Fully vaccinated passengers are exempt from presenting a negative test result to enter the Galapagos Islands. They must present proof of vaccination

- The certificate/document may be requested at different points of the trip. They must present proof of vaccination that must comply with Ecuador’s requirements.

To be considered fully vaccinated by Ecuador you must comply with the following: Present the vaccination card against COVID-19 or its equivalent, with the full scheme, showing that the vaccination was completed at least 14 days before arrival.

Other passengers

All passengers must present a negative RT-PCR test result to enter the Galapagos Islands with 72 hours before boarding the flight to Ecuador.
