Day 1: Welcome to Cusco!

Upon arrival you will be assisted at the Cusco airport and then transferred to your hotel.

You will have the rest of the day to acclimatize.

Today, set off on a fascinating half-day tour of Cuzco.Begin in the iconic Plaza de Armas, and visit the Cathedral. From here, walk to the Koricancha Temple, an impressive ancient Inca palace, in honour of the Sun God. Today, a Dominican church stands on the site. Finally, visit the lively San Blas neighbourhood, known for its artists, shops and artisan workshops. Spend the remainder of the day at your leisure, soaking up the atmosphere of the city and sampling the local cuisine

Day 2: Full Day Living The Authentic Sacred Valley

Visit Chinchero, a small picturesque Andean village. Enter the home of a textile artisan, where you will see some of his original work and learn about his techniques, as well as his creative process. Then visit its important Inca ruins dating back to the end of the 15th century, as well as you can observe in a panoramic way its beautiful and traditional church. Afterwards, on the road to Ollantaytambo, you will stop at a viewpoint, for one of the best views of the Sacred Valley. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Then it is on to Ollantaytambo, one of the most representative building complexes of the Inca Empire and site of one of the Spanish Conquistadors' rare strategic defeats. Famous for its terraced fields, Ollantaytambo was a very effective fortress and also a religious center.

Day 3: Visit to Machu Picchu

This day holds what is bound to be the highlight of your visit to Cusco: Machu Picchu. As one of the most renowned and beautiful must-see destinations of the world, it’s no wonder it welcomes over 1 million tourists every year! You’ll leave Sacred Valley early towards Aguas Calientes and, after a short ride up the mountain, you’ll find yourself standing before one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World and one of the most important energy centers. It will be an unforgettable sight! You’ll set off to explore the citadel with its unique ruins, terraces and photogenic alpacas. From the highest hills you’ll be able to take in the unbelievable spectacle that is Machu Picchu seen from above. After soaking up the magical energy (and with plenty of photographs to show!) you’ll head back down to Aguas Calientes to board the train back to Cusco.

Day 4: Goodbye Cusco!

At the scheduled time, you will be transferred from your Cusco hotel to the airport to take your flight back home.
