Day 1. La Paz – Oruro (by regular bus) and Oruro - Uyuni (by train)
Transfer out. Trip from La Paz by bus going southwest through the highlands to Oruro (3 hour and a half), then take the train to Uyuni (6-7 hours), crossing a big portion of the highlands.

Day 2. Uyuni salt flats (Full day)
Trip to Colchani to see locals producing salt, enter the Uyuni salt flats a natural wonder of the nature with over 10,000 km2, crossing to “Isla Incahuasi” (2 hours), a special habitat of volcanic rocks and giant cactus. Continue north to the pre-Columbian Pucara de Ayque fort and the nearby chullpares in the foothills of the Tunupa volcano, then east back to the village of Colchani
(2 hours). Enjoy a great sunset, overnight in salt hotel.

Day 3. Uyuni – La Paz
