Lima is a city of 2 halves: the old and the new. Explore the different districts with a guide and get under the skin of Peru’s misunderstood capital. From plazas to museums, galleries and convents, you’ll see some of the highlights in this morning tour.

Highlights:

  • Capture the beauty of Lima’s main square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site
  • Observe how old the old and new co-exist in Lima’s most popular neighborhoods, from Miraflores to San Isidro
  • Visit the Convent of Santo Domingo, where the tombs of 3 Peruvian saints can be found. Look out for their skulls contained in a glass cabinet nearby–gruesome
  • Finish with a sea view from the Park of Love with its iconic sculpture

      The shared tours depart from predetermined meeting points. You can choose the nearest one. We kindly ask you to arrive 15 minutes early to start promptly with the group. This activity does not include tips.

        Difficulty: Easy. This is a walking tour and suitable for anyone in good health. Wear comfortable shoes.

        Altitude: Lima is on the coast so you won’t be at risk of altitude sickness here

        What to bring

          Water bottle, camera, sunscreen, and high-protection sun cream. Sun hat (with a visor or brim), sunglasses, and comfortable footwear.
