    Exclusions

      To issue the entrance ticket to Machu Picchu, the passenger must provide the following information: full name, passport number, date of birth, and nationality. Please note that the Machu Picchu entrance ticket is non-refundable, and no date changes or modifications are allowed. If you need to change the date of your visit, a new ticket will need to be purchased. On the day of the Machu Picchu tour, you must bring the ID used to book the  ticket to board the train and enter the Machu Picchu citadel. The backpack   policy for the Inca site stipulates that allowed dimensions must not exceed  40 x 35 x 20 cm or have a capacity greater than 20 liters.

      Trains are confirmed to Ollantaytambo Station at times subject to availability at the time of booking. Please note that single-use plastic bottles and bags are not allowed, so we recommend bringing reusable water bottles or canteens.

      The luggage policy on the trains allows you to bring the following on board: one carry-on bag, with a maximum size of 157 cm (height + width + length) and a maximum weight of 5 kg. This activity does not include lunch or gratuities.

      Please note

        This tour is a shared service, is not suitable for wheelchair users or strollers .It is not recommended  for travelers with heart conditions, mobility limitations, or pregnant women, and it requires participants to have a moderate level of physical fitness.

        Difficulty: Moderate. Machu Picchu is at altitude and walking here is tougher than you’re probably used to. Don’t underestimate the challenge. Suitable for anyone in good health. It’s worth mentioning the stairs, uneven ground and cobbled pathways. Wear comfortable shoes.

        What to bring

          Hiking boots (very comfortable), wind and rain jacket, fleece sweater (it's better   to wear several lightweight layers than one heavy fleece), sun hat (with a visor or brim), sunglasses, and comfortable, lightweight, quick-drying clothing (jeans are not recommended). Cotton T-shirts, hiking shorts, a bandana, reusable water bottle or canteen, camera, snacks, sunscreen and high-protection sun cream, insect repellent, and lip balm.
